Sailmore

A project in collaboration with the company Sailmore. Sailmore is an entrepreneurial company with a mission to create a combination with the GoMore concept and sailing trips. For that, they needed a dynamic platform for their users.

    Introduction

For the sailmore project, the focus was on creating a platform that was easy, intuitive and attractive to look at. The main features of the platform were sign-up function, login function, create a sailing trip, update your personal profile and the option to delete it again.

    Approach

Our approach to the project was to create a platform with recognizable features, elements and conventions. Our intention with this was that new users would already have an idea of how to use the platform and thus be more likely to become part of the platform.

    Challenges

The project was the last of the semester and therefore, we should combine all the knowledge and skills we had learned throughout the semester. Therefore, it was difficult to set a clear direction for the project without aiming too high and ambitiously, while at the same time coming up with a quality product we could be proud of.

    Outcome

Our outcome was a platform where it was possible to create a user as either captain or guest and thus give access to features that were only available if you were logged in. As a user, you had the option to create, view, update and delete your profile. In addition, as a captain, you had the opportunity to create tours that the guests could see.
